THERE ARE CURRENTLY POSTAL DELAYS IN AND AROUND THE WORLD DUE TO STAFFING ISSUES RELATING TO COVID.  PLEASE BE PATIENT WHEN WAITING FOR YOUR PACKAGES.  THANK YOU!

Please note that due to Brexit, all overseas orders may now be subject to customs, VAT and duty charges in your country.  These amounts will vary depending on where you are buying from and we are unable to give you an estimate of what these costs could be.  We recommend finding out possible additional costs before placing an order with us from outside of the UK, so that you know what to expect.

Please also note, that there may be delays on usual shipping times due to Royal Mail and some couriers working with a reduced workforce because of Covid-19.  Please allow a little extra time for your order to arrive before emailing us. We are currently running on a skeleton staff and working extremely hard to ensure your orders are packed and shipped on time so we appreciate your patience.  

When will you ship my order?

Orders placed by 2pm Monday to Friday are usually shipped the same business day.  Orders placed after 2pm on any business day, may not be dispatched that day, but we will do our best to ensure they are shipped that day if possible. In this case, same day dispatch cannot be guaranteed as this can be affected by courier collection times which vary daily.  If you place an order after 2pm and it is too late to be shipped on the same business day, we will ship the order on the next business day.  Any order placed on a Saturday, Sunday or on UK public holidays will be shipped on the next business day. We always endeavour to ship orders as quickly as possible. 

Shipping prices will vary depending on the size of your order and which delivery service you choose.

NB: Please be aware that due to Covid-19 and the Brexit transition, there may be some extended delays on orders arriving.  Please allow extra time for your order to arrive, as Royal Mail and couriers have a backlog at this time.  

 

Delivery times

Please be advised that items are taking longer to arrive because of the worldwide situation, so use these figures as a guideline only. 

Shipping in the UK of in stock items will be via Royal Mail or Courier as you choose.  Royal Mail 1st Class is usually 1-3 business days. Royal Mail 2nd Class is usually 3-5 business days. Royal Mail Special Delivery is usually next business day. Royal Mail Special Saturday Delivery is also available. 

We offer UK courier options which are usually next business day. 

Overseas orders

Europe:

Delivery times will vary but usually arrive within 14 business days on average to Europe. European Courier options are available and are offer a faster service. 

Rest of World

Royal Mail usually arrives in around 28 business days. 

We do offer Rest of World courier options which do offer a faster service. 

Customs Charges

Those of you living outside of the UK may find your orders are subject to customs charges. We must write the package contents on the packet by law. We cannot and will not mark any orders as gift. 

We are not responsible for any customs charges you incur for you order. The customer assumes all responsibility for any customs charges once the order has been placed.

NB: Due to Brexit, some EU countries who previously did not pay customs charges on good ordered from the UK may find that you are charged VAT, duty and handling charges in your country.  We suggest looking up any potential extra charges prior to ordering.  Any packages returned to us due to being refused because of additional charges will be refunded at goods price only.  We are not able to refund shipping costs.  

Returns

We follow the legal requirements regarding your rights as customer, and so are more than happy to except returns where appropriate, for either a refund or exchange. We want you to be happy with your purchase, so the following outlines our returns policy as per the 'Online Distance Selling Regulations'.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

You must request a return within 14 days of purchase, and return within 14 days thereafter.

Refunds will be processed on receipt of the returned item. The refund includes your full original purchase cost including original postage costs on return of the complete order. Buyer pays return postage costs to send item back to us, unless agreed otherwise prior to returning the item. We recommend sending back to us via recorded delivery so you can be sure we have received the products back successfully.

To request a return for an exchange or refund, please email us at info@diversityhair.co.uk with your original order number, name, delivery address and you reason for the return. 

We cannot accept returns of any goods that you have opened, unless they are faulty. This is due to health and safety regulations in regard to hair hygiene, so you must keep any items to be returned, sealed in their original packaging.
Gift Cards are also non refundable.
In the unlikely event of goods being sent in error, please email us and return to us by recorded post. A refund or exchange for the right items will be issued on receipt. When any goods are returned to us as a result of us making a mistake, we shall refund the return postage cost on receipt so please keep your postal receipt. Loss/delay in transit

Please note that shipping quotes are from time of dispatch, not from time of ordering.

We always aim to ship items within our expressed time frame, however we do not have control over Royal Mail and couriers, therefore please be patient and allow extra time before contacting us during holiday periods, as delays at these times are normal. Delays may also occasionally be caused by customs, traffic, weather and other conditions beyond our control.

We ask you to email us and let us know that your item has not arrived and allow us time to track it. We will resolve the issue with you via email.

Claims of lost parcels that are found to have been delivered, will be reported as fraud.

International Address not found/Parcel not delivered and returned to us

In the event of the the courier not being able to deliver, they will make attempts to contact you on the phone number you have provided us.

If they cannot reach you, then the parcel will be returned to us. You will be liable for paying shipping costs to have the order redelivered. If you would prefer to cancel your order, you will be refunded the original goods total less the original postage cost and any return postage cost to us within the UK. 

The above can be avoided by providing correct address details with additional information if needed, and being available on the number you have provided.
