This monofiber range is smooth in texture, fairly heavy in feel, has a high heat resistance and does not shrink when heat is applied to it.
For dreadmaking: This hair is easily backcombed and holds its shape once sealed. We recommend that you use a powerful steamer or the hair straightener/damp towel method to seal. It is possible to make smooth synthetic dreads with this hair, and it is great for crochet dreads. We recommend you order 6 packs for a full head of box braids. One pack will yield 6-8 single ended dreads or 8-12 double ended dreads in standard length/thickness (Depending on dread style).
